Do You Qualify for Aid and Attendance Supplemental Income for Wartime Veterans?
The United States Department of Veteran’s Administration helps veterans and their families cope with financial challenges by providing supplemental income through the Veterans Aid and Attendance benefit. This is available for eligible veterans, veterans’ spouses, or widows. It is paid in addition to a veteran’s basic pension.
Veterans and survivors who are eligible for Pension benefits and are housebound or require the aid and attendance of another person may be eligible to receive additional monthly income.
We help eligible families apply and qualify for Veteran’s Benefits. These benefits increase the monthly income of our veterans, spouses, and widows up to approximately $24,000 annually. This income is used to offset the high costs of healthcare such as assisted living, home health care, memory care, and long term care.
